Hello, I’m Jerri Patterson, owner of The Charlotte Wedding Company, and I’d like to share with you a brief history of this labor of love.
I love weddings! I love the smell, the themes and decor, the food, and all those flowers!! But working in the wedding industry over the years I saw how many brides were struggling to pull it all together. And for most, the cost of an outside wedding planner was not an option. And the idea came to me that if there was a single company, one place to handle all aspects of these events, everything would be much more efficient, saving a great deal of time and anguish for those overwhelmed brides.
Certain that I could fill the need, I started with a company called Table Decor & More. It was a great success and we eventually bought out 2 other companies and now have re-branded our business as The Charlotte Wedding Company, to reflect the full scope of what we do. I assembled everything a bride would need to have a perfect wedding, we have a huge warehouse of items ranging from tables and chairs, to plates, flatware and glasses, to our huge centerpiece collection. I followed that with hiring the best staff in all areas — Catering, Photography, Floral Design, Wedding Cake, DJ and more.
At this point, we have designed and staged hundreds of successful All-Inclusive Weddings & Events throughout the Charlotte metro region. Without a doubt this is my life’s calling and I feel so fortunate that I get to do something I truly love everyday.
